Veganism Isn’t Cruelty Free

When advocating for animals, almost all vegans will hear this at some point : even vegans can hurt animals. We have to drive in cars, we use computers, maybe some animals die during harvesting for our food. It is true. Sad, but true. We cant be perfect. All we can do is our best. But just because we cant save everyone, doesn’t mean we should stop trying to save anyone.  It is true that vegans can still have a negative impact, but it is also true that the impact is far less negative on the animals and the natural world. Whatever plants vegans need harvested is a fraction of that needed for meat eaters, which means far fewer animals killed in the fields and far less land needed.  No matter how you slice it, vegans cause less harm.
